Participation awards & disclosures.
Participation awards are discretionary, not guaranteed, and made on a first-come, first-served basis while program funds last.

What the program is.
Up to $2,500 in lifetime participation-based awards may be made available to eligible full HeartBadge members. Awards are discretionary gifts from Real Compassion Today—not guaranteed earnings, not automatic, and not an investment.
Verified complimentary full HeartBadge members are part of the eligible-member class and participate under the same published terms as paid members. Cash awards are limited to U.S. residents age 18 and older.
First-come, first-served
Awards are made in the order eligible members complete verified participation milestones, while program funds last.
Board discretion
The Real Compassion Today board determines how and when awards are made available, sets the program period and any pool limits, and applies published criteria consistently.
Gifted fairly
Awards are gifted fairly to supporters of Real Compassion Today who meet the published, verified participation criteria.
Verified participation
Participation is verified through the HeartBadge instrument and HeartBadge-enabled tools and services.
No chance element
Awards are made under published criteria, subject to verification, available funding, program limits, and first-come, first-served processing. No drawing, raffle, random selection, or chance-based selection is used.
Membership is not an award
Membership makes someone eligible to participate in Real Compassion Today programs under their published terms. Membership does not itself entitle a member to an award.
Separations, funding & taxes.
Volunteers & awards are separate
Volunteer recognition is separate from cash awards. Service to Real Compassion Today is freely donated; volunteer hours are never a condition or basis for a cash award, no compensation is promised or anticipated, and service never replaces paid staff.
Funding
Award funds are allocated by the Real Compassion Today board from program support. Detailed funding allocations will be published with the final program terms.
Taxes
Recipients are responsible for applicable taxes. Real Compassion Today may issue applicable information returns (for example, Forms 1099) as required by law.
How requests move through the program.
Submitted
Your request has been received and logged.
Verified
Evidence has been reviewed and the participation milestone is confirmed.
Approved
The request has been approved under the published criteria and funded pool.
Paid
The award has been issued and recorded.
